DStv Business raises subscription prices

Beginning September 1, 2022, commercial subscribers to the DStv Business packages will now pay for new traffic. In a notification sent to consumers on August 1, MultiChoice Kenya increased the subscription rates for all of its DStv packages. These new rates will also be applied to the commercial DStv Business Work, Play, and Stay packages.

Customers of DStv Business will start paying the aforementioned monthly subscription fees on September 1.

The commercial packages have seen an increase in popularity over the past 12 months as a result of DStv Business’s recent revamping in July 2021. These new value packages are now packed with genre-specific content that benefits businesses and their customers and links commercial establishments to profits. The corporation recognized in a message to consumers that their Kenyan businesses are under tremendous pressure and that the small rise is only due to inflation in Africa as a whole.

Even with the price rise, DStv claims to continue to provide the most affordable pay-tv selection and a fantastic value. Customers of DStv Business can also anticipate the addition of new channels including Movie Room, Smart 24 TV, and News Central, which will strengthen the work and stay packages by adding more news and movies.

With the recent inclusion of XtraView, which enables establishments to have three DStv decoders with the same number of channels for the price of only one monthly subscription, DStv Business has announced improvements to the experience for its Work, Play, and Stay clients. The only charge that customers will have to pay is the Xtraview access fee. Because each of the three decoders can be used independently, clients have a wide range of options to suit their preferences. In order to provide a better customer experience, DStv Business will also unveil an online self-service platform for its clients later in the year. Through this portal, consumers will be able to pay bills and manage their DStv business accounts without having to visit a physical location.
